Yes.  Driver side front and back have Left thread lugs.  The engineering idea back in the day was that the nuts would stay tightened by the direction of the wheel rotation...  Go figure.

Thanks for all the posts. I will try some of the ideas posted. I have
a feeling this will be an interesting project! While removing the
front drivers side wheel it appears the lugnut threads run in
different direction than passenger side. Is this normal?
