Re: Mopar Trivia

You go me confused as I equate "Body Style" = 2-door sedan

The car body used on the 1960 Valiant was given a letter
classification, but it was X. The Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto and
Chrysler body was called the "A" body in 1960. Things got rearranged
in 1962 with the introduction of the B body.

The 1960 Valiant also was the only Valiant that did not use "V" for
the car line. It was also "X". And it was the only 1960 model
Chrysler Coporation produced that did not use Chrysler Engineering's
model year code "P". The 1960 Valiant was model year "Q". Thus a
1960 Valiant V-200 2-door sedan was model QX1-H 41.

Had to do some searching, but that 413 engine of 1953-1955 had a bore
of 4-1/16" and a stroke of 5-5/16". One monster of a flathead six!

1968 models had round or square (Chrysler New Yorker) lights, no
reflectors, on the sides.
1969 models had rectangular reflectors on the sides, no lights,
although some models used the sides of the taillights for the rear
markers. And no bulbs or not, they were still listed in the
Electrical section of the parts book.
1970 models had rectangular light/reflector units on the sides.
