Re: Oil pan gasket replace and rear main replace



If you're going to lower the crank, don't you have to loosen all the rod bearing caps?
What is this Chinese puller? I may have to do this so am very interested in this.

Man that is a bummer.  Someone stealing all your tools.  If you can't find
that chinese puller tool, I will send you mine to use if you like.  It makes
thing a lot easier .  They don't really cost very much.   Like I say I have
been able to turn the crank and pull the old seal out and then reverse the
process to install the new one.  It does make it easier to lower the crank a
little.  Just don't forget to torque the mains again.
