My 65 Satellite (1972/440) is bigger than my ‘41 Ply Street Rod (1984/SB 318). In fact the original high performance thermostat I ordered from Summit fell in the hole of the 440. I bought the correct one, Mr. Gasket from O’Riely’s and later used the smaller one in ‘41.
