Check out Hemmings magazine if you can find one.  They have ads for many 
hard things to find like paint.  They also have special paint that not only 
stops rust (it can't work on what is already gone or almost gone).  Lots of 
other stuff is in one of those magazines you might need.  Everyone should 
have at least one current issue handy (not more than a year old).
