When I cleaned up my stock exhaust manifolds I painted them with a product called Slip Plate. It's actually an industrial lubricant that is used for the tracks that are on semi car haulers. The tracks that the rollers for the ramps run on. It's high temp resistant and doesn't attract dirt and dust. They look like they just came out of the mold. Google it. I read about it in a resto mag.
