Subject: Re: brake bleeder systems
Scott:
I used several types of brake bleeder systems and the best one was the MITYVAC. It was a
little pricy, less than $150 or there about , but well worth it and i got it on sale at the NAPA store.
I got the Model MV6830 and it worked great.
I saw it at WWW.MITYVAC.COM.
A friend loaned me a system that applied the pressure from a reservoir thru the master cylinder and it tended to leak all over getting it set up. Later I found out when I returned it my friend never asked for it back because he bought another system, do not know the name of it. He tossed the one I returned. He drives and works on a XX product.

The Mityvac was my grandfather's invention, so you might say I'm a
little biased. However, it is indeed very versatile and can be used
for MUCH more than just bleeding systems, which is a plus when buying
a tool.
http://www.mityvac.com/Another excellent
solution, though not at all versatile, is the Speed
Bleeder. It replaces your brake bleeders with brake bleeders that have
check valves inside. All you do to make them work is loosen a bit and
pump the brake pedal, then tighten when you're done. Very nice, and
inexpensive, and still made in the US.
