The poly was not the red like the LA motor red. Its a red - orange blend. Chrysler Industrial Red (DE 1632) Engine Enamel by Dupli-Color is called red, but dries to a red-orange color that is close to the original Poly paint.  An exact match is claimed by some to be NAPA farm equipment spray paint, International-Harvester red by Martin-Semour paints.
The Ditzler code is 71034 for acrylic enamel for the polyhead.
