I now have the block I plan to eventually build for my car, but it'll be a long way off from now (daughter in college). I'm interested in your opinions on long term block storage. My initial plan is to lightly grease the cylinders, bearing surfaces, etc... and then seal it in heavy plastic. Some say this may trap moisture, but I think it'll help keep it out. It will be stored in my climatically UNcontrolled garage in Wisconsin - which includes some heat and humidity in the summers and sub zero temps in the winters. It's just the plain block - which is painted and looks great at the moment. Thanks in advance for your input.
