How much travel is in an air shock? How many degrees change in pinion angle from top to bottom of shock?  How many degrees pinion angle do you have to change to make or lessen a vibration? Raising the rear of the car is going is going to pull the rear section of the spring up and rotate the pinion angle down. The axle isnt pushed down by the shocks. The shocks are raising the body from the axle.

The front of the spring is a pivot point that does not change, when the axle is pushed down by the shocks, it changes the angle of the axle because the front of spring can not move down with it,,,,a simple example of it would be to take a pencil or pen with writing on it, hold one end of the pen solid, and lower the other end, and watch as the writing starts running down hill,,,,,this is the same action that is happening to the pinion shaft in the rearend,,,,,,
