Re: 361 Engine suggestions

New plugs ,wires, electronic Ingition, carb rebuild. make sure timing is set correctly,  some times a new carb will help if the rebuild is not doing the job.  If it has a two barrel replacing it with a 4 br will help.  Just don't go to big. The two barrel has to work to hard for the cubes it is feeding.

Hey guys... just thought i'd throw this out and see what I can learn!  I have a 64 dodge 880 custom with a 361... I changed the belts and hoses the other day... what would be some good ways to improve the engine and get it running the best I can?  I do want to get it rebuilt in the next couple of years... but I thought i'd ask and see what I can do in the mean time!  Thanks guys!
