distilled water and a can of water pump lube/rust inhibitor.........best coolant there is. If you use anti-freeze keep it to the minimum for your temp area

Haven't looked in there lately.

What I think I should do flush the system then add water and water wetter or
similar products. Doesn't need anti-freeze because my garage gets no colder than
45 degrees. (has a furnace)

The water in there likely has a orange color to it now. Have you looked in the
radiator lately?
