Re: February

I know Ramcharger Mike Buckel told me stories that have to be relayed.
In the Detroit winters when they were driving the 1st generations of
the max wedge cars he reacalled of a particularily cold night when Jim
Thornton left the "club house" late to go home he had started and re
started the maxie over 6 times before he got to the corner at then end
of the block. And after turning the corner they kept hearing the car
stall out, then refire for another little while.

Just thinking what a time that must have been, driving the 1st maxies
out of production in a winter ridden city like Detroit. Cool stuff!!!
