I don't think that Jimmy's comments was directed towards the notification
of Wayne Brewer's illness, per se, but against the many comments directed back
to someone of one or two words that add nothing to the discourse. I get
many e-mails through the list every day that say "thanks" (intended to someone
in particular for a part, etc, but sent to the group), or other cryptic message
that applies to only one person. I think Akron Don's comments on Wayne are
of general interest to the Mopar faithful, but if we can keep things clear
and concise,
and directed to individuals when that is the
intended target, all the better, Saves a lot of unnecessary bandwidth junk
mail.
If the message is to inform the entire group, or just to thank (or
chastise) one individual, that should determine who we send it to.

I
apologize for offending anyone by notifying the group of Wayne Brewer's
illness, I felt it was certainly pertinent to this group as Wayne has done a
lot for the hobby in general and he and his son Dan have raced their share of
64 Dodge's and have sponsored the 4-speed class at past Chrysler Classic
events.
I treat this board as more than information sharing, it is like hanging
out with buddies who own similar cars, and like hanging out in anyone's
garage, the illness or joys of one of the guys will always be brought
up.
