Re: brake problem

I would start on the offending wheel.  Calibers can also get rust inside them and get sticky.  If it has disk brakes.  If drum it's just a leaking wheel cylinder, just look to see if it's a little bit wet inside, if you don't see anything wet, pull back the dust cap, (gently) to see if it's been leaking.  (that's on drum)  Disks are a differnt matter.  I bet it gets better with some hard stops and acts up again with slow stops.

My 64 polara 500 is having brake problems. It has the original master cylinder. Two times this week now when just lightly touching the brake to stop the right front brake grabbed bad enough to cause the tire to actually squeal on the pavement. Last summer I did have to fill the reservoir because for some unexplained reason (leak somewhere) it was low after being in a parade. I have not checked the reservoir yet after this latest happening but will after i send this. It does have new pads, cylinders and brake lines from 4 years ago and 2000 miles. Any thoughts on the issue?
