Re: 64 Sport Fury Street Wedge

E,
May I call you "E"? I believe you would be better off pulling and storing that orginal 426 and building your own max engine. 440's are relatively cheap and so are stroker kits! Let your pocket book be your guide.

Well after years of searching I finally purchased a 64 sport fury, it
is a rust free survivor from CA, black on black street wedge 4 speed
car, it is in incredible condition with only the drivers seat needing
a small repair.

I think I may have paid too much for it but it is what I want and at
least the search is over.

I paid $28,000 for the car, do you guys think it was too much?

I think maybe a little.

Also can I make this street wedge engine into a Max Wedge engine?, I
know it will be expensive and I may be better off storing the original
engine and building a new Max Wedge for some street meet drag racing.

Thanks in Advance.
