simple engine build, bore it .030 if it goes there to make sure the bores are good, use a good piston like C-P or Ross, there are actually many good choices available, use Edelbrock Victor heads and intake and call Bullit to have them grind a cam and along with a basic oiling system it will fly.One of my buddies built a similar combo for his 65 Dodge and with these heads and intake and an old outdated Mopar Performance hydraulic cam ran 11:30 out of the box with a 727, 10" convertor and 4:10 gears at Martin Dragway in Michigan, I was amazed at how well the combo worked, the car is now into the 10's with a Racer Brown cam.Joey

Hello Fellow 62-65er's
As most of you know I just bough my dream car, a '64 Sport fury street
wedge, sorry if I sound stupid but I just don't know that much about
the 426 Street wedge motor.
I would like it to run low 11's and would like to know what
performance parts you guys would fit to acheive this?, I am under the
presumption trhat 440 RB perforamce parts would be the ones to fit
this motor would that be right?
I would also like to buy some old school parts to give it that
original olds shool look rather than modern bolt on stuff, so any
suggestions on where to get that stuff would be a great help.
Also I don't want to Max Wedge it, I love the fact that is't a street
wedge and want to keep it that way.
Thanks in Advance Guy's
