The main point is:  this questionable email is a good reminder that if members start to send off-topic content, then this mail list's Mopar discussion quickly deteriorates into an ugly shouting match. Hence the guideline you agree to follow when you join this Mopar discussion group:

"Moreover, you are welcome to include your personal opinions and beliefs in your private e-mails you send to one person. But DO NOT put your personal social, political, religious etc. statements in messages sent to everyone in the ’62 to ’65 Mopar Mail List Clubhouse, including in your signature. Remember, we are a captive audience that signed up to discuss Mopars. There are plenty of discussion groups on the Web to discuss whatever non-Mopar topic you personally are passionate about. Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address.
