Subject: Weekend Mopar Show
I was able to take my 63' Sport Fury out for the first time this year to the Mopars In Motion car show at Robert's Dodge in Meriden, Ct. Beautiful weather, I counted 110 mopars entered in the show. I took photos of the 5 62-65 cars that showed up. My camera was set on the wrong resolution so excuse the bad photos. Parked next to me was an model you don't see often here in New England. A 64' Dodge 440 sedan. We have many 330 sedans but this is the first 440 sedan I've seen and a class act running 440/727/Dana 4:10.
A 64' Polara 318 car soon to receive a big Hemi, a 64' Sport Fury, and a 65' Coronet 500 383/727. The treat for the day was an old Ford pickup with a real 64' Max Wedge. The owner said everything was original from an old car, but that it had a 426 replacement block bought from the parts department at this dealership many many years ago. Just another fun Mopar day.
