Re: Chrysler historical " build record" ?

I have not used the Chrysler Historical files, but with the number of owners that some of our cars have had, and the desire to "personalize" them by each owner, it is sometimes nice to see how the car originally came from the factory.  If someone wants to restore the car to it's original state, I believe it could be a great resource.  Restoration doesn't always mean "flipping", but the desire to have the car as it originally came from the factory.  Some just want "original", others want it "personalized".  Some just want a car.

Dodger, though I have never had the pleasure of meeting you, and your probably a great guy, but why do you appear to be so negative about everything? Just a question like yours?
I
I am far from a negative type guy, and it came back to me exactly as I figured it would, the advantage of having the decode is for farther evidence of originality or in other terms establishing a price for the vehicle, and no I have nothing positive to say about anyone that is into the cars as an investment, belonging to the site is for the advancement of the owner and lover of their pride and joy, and not about how to best make their wallet thicker, and no I personally will not give any information to anyone that I think is just out there flippin cars and using others info to better their bank account,,,,,
