i may be a little late to the party here but this is my $0.02...You are not going to see any performance increase unless you advanced the engine's timing to make use of the increased octane. Just swapping premium in for regular won't do anything. The only advantage without a timing adjustment is that most (if not all) premium does not contain ethanol.
