mufflers and more... it has dual 2 1/4" for the poly ,and i have that system to another guy here local as soon as i pull the 318. want to go with 2 1/2" from the headers to rear, may opt for 3" .  have bigger plans for the 440 engine after it and i are comfortable with each other.  don't really want to piece meal the exhuast system toghere , but every system i have looked at offers with or without mufflers , so yeah if you got something that work well with a bb. ran 44's on my 64 galaxie (390fe) through 3" and long tubes glass packs on the 63 f100 also with a 390fe. both were hooligan loud for my neighbors.  should mention i live in a subdivision and leave for work at 5:30am.

Sounds to me you're looking for some advice on mufflers?  If you can wait a couple days I can dig out my reciept for my mufflers on my 65 Polara.  Can't remember what they are but everybody says they sound good.  And I don't think they were all that much money.

accurates looks awesome and schu's points you to them on their site... thing is accurates is 2 x's +  the moneys.  i already have the 2 1/2' s/s y pipe and electric cutout from doug's. $1467 accurates with h pipe v/s tti H pipe set up $578.  not trying to be cheap but big diff. in cost.

I have those and went to accurate exhaust for my exhaust system. Got the hemi mufflers http://www.accurateexhaust.com
