Many more 383 engines made for 300 cars than the 413. If it's not a 300J, the engine is most likely a factory installed 383.

I bought a 47 Plymouth Coupe from a guy last week and he also has a 63 Chrysler 300 for sale.  It comes with a 4 dr. parts car.  Some trim missing but the parts car has some of it.  Car is nice and straight with minimal rust in the quarters and usual places.  I didn't ask him the price as I was not interested.  The car is in SW Iowa.  If any one is interested let me know and I can put you in touch with him.  I have no financial interest etc.
