Re: Travis shared an album with you.

I appreciate all the comments. I believe that this group functions not only as a great information source but helps keep folks motivated by sharing your inspiring cars and words. Especially important during those trying times such as when you realize you cut that new floorpan 1/4" short or laying under the car with a face full of rust.

Christopher, to address your questions: The scoop is an AAR piece and is actually the second one I purchased. I wasn't happy with one I bought from another company. AAR quality is good, gellcoat is straight, it just takes a while to get it. (PN 1032SC). The upper control arms are from Reilly Motor Sports Inc. (PN RMS2002) and again, the second set I bought due to the quality of another company. I seem to do that a lot and really runs the costs up. The best news is that parts availability for 62/65's is much better than when I started this project in '06. Thanks again.

Keep 'em flying!

Travis, great job! Question ...are those "CAP Auto " upper control arms? If so, we need to chat about a safety concern. Also love the hood scoop. Which one is it / where's it from?
Thanks again for sharing!!!

Steve Mick inspired me with his photos. Here's a brief history of my 6 year
project. Currently in the paint shop in Hammond, La. Hoping to reunite with
it March or April. Have actually managed to put about 30 miles on it and I
gotta tell you, it marches to its own drummer. I had forgotten what a
warmed over big block feels like. More to come in the spring. T
