Thanks to Cory for pointing out that he posted this non-Mopar content joke here by mistake.  

Yes, we all need a good laugh often. But ask yourself what the 62-65 mail you receive would look like if dozens of members started posting jokes and other off-topic mails routinely. 

As the Mail List guidelines point out: "Remember, we are a captive audience that signed up to discuss Mopars. There are plenty of discussion groups on the Web to discuss whatever non-Mopar topic you personally are passionate about. Go for it." Or just send something like this to a "joke" mail distribution list you cultivate yourself, as was suggested.  http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.org/mletiq.html

Plus, not posting off-topic mail saves me from the time and effort of going into the 62-65 mail archive and deleting the off-topic emails.

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
