That's funny.  Like Hansel and Gretel, I leave a trail wherever I go
so I can find my way back.

On the advice of Joe Suchy, I spoke to Mike from REM auto and finally
found someone who was completely understood what I have.  He has the
same headliner on a 61.

He says it's a sprayed on foam, which is different than the perforated
cardboard, which is painted.  It has a foamy squishyness to it.  The
bad news he knows of nowhere it can be found anymore.  His advice is
to bring a sample to an auto upholstery place and go through their
samples.  If I can find something I can live with, glue it to the
existing backing board, which is still solid if I clean it off.

Oh well.  At least I know I'm not crazy.  At least not about the
headliner anyway.
