You need to compare apples to apples,,,,,,,,,,,In 65 the A-body was a 111
inch wheel base with an overall body measurement of 196 inches, the B-body a 117
with overall of 204, and the C-body 121 with overall of 212,,,,,,,, the
body styles changed between the 65 and 68s, and you also jumped to a
different brand as well,,,, with the A-body Plymouths being a
wheel base of 108 and overall of 188, B-body wheelbase of 117 and overall
of 203 inches, and the C-body wheel base was 119 with an overall of
213.
You need to look at the platform (wheel base) to
establish if it is A-B-or C-body, within the same year and brand. Body
styles have changed over the years,,,,, look at the size of todays cars
compared to the 60s
