--Also make sure the brakes are adjusted all the way up another thing is that you can gravity bleed them till fluid drips out in a steady stream then it's a real quick process after that

This may help. Always keep filling the master cylinder with fluid while bleeding the brakes. Never let it get below half full or you can suck air in when you release the pedal. Move the pedal slowly when pumping it. Sorry about the title of the link I sent not implying anything. Hope this helps.
