Well guys, my Polara is finally able to stop. Turns out it was two things. First it needed a little bit of bleeding on the rear wheel. Second, the front brakes needed adjusting REALLY bad. It took absolutely no effort to spin the wheels by finger when on the jack stands. I get to drive my 65 to a car show this weekend. Yay for me.

From what you guys have said, I'm betting you're all right. Air in the lines was my thought as well. I'm gonna give it a try in the next couple days as my buddy will be back then. Make SURE there is brake fluid in the MC at ALL times. Either gravity bleed ( takes some time)or have someone slowly push pedal to the floor as you crack open the bleeder , shut the bleeder before letting the pedal back up, repeat till you get no bubbles. Start at the brake cylinder furtherest away from the MC- then the next furtherest etc. I take a clear jar and put a little brake fluid in it, run a small hose slipped over the bleeder to the jar and submerse it in the brake fluid. That way you can easily see the bubbles come out and also when there is no bubbles, it is bled. Sometimes it is hard to get all the air out that is still in the lines. Repeat the bleeding . If you still have a spongy pedal- there is still air in the lines. You will waste a lot of brake fluid unless it is clean and can be re-used.........................................MO
