I was going to suggest Edelbrock shocks but it seems that they no longer make them? I put a set on my 65 Belvy and they are great!

While we're on the subject, any recommendations on shocks?
Anyone know how many leaves are in the springs for a 1964 Newport and/or 300?
One thing to keep in mind is with a company like ESPO your getting new springs probably from China and if good quality that's OK if they are an exact fit. With a company like Saint Louis Spring your having your old springs rebuilt/re-arched
so you are fairly much assured fit will be the least of your concerns. I do believe tracking or cornering was one of your concerns in the beginning. While your back their working I would recommend a rear swaybar to tighten things up.

Thanks for the info guys, will check'm out.
I'll vouch for ESPO. Bought springs for 3 cars from them and have been very happy...65 Coronet 500 'vert, 73 Dart Sport, & 80 Cordoba LS Great prices and quality products. Very nice to
deal with. Bill M 65 Coronet 500 'vert

There are no "modern performance" springs for a 1964 Chrysler that I know about. Putting new steel springs will be in effect the same thing as "modern performance" anyway. If you talk to St Louis Spring or ESPO you can ask them if the 1964 Chrysler 300K used
a heavier-duty leaf spring. If so, you could consider that. Also you can decide if you want the rear of the car to sit slightly higher than stock. 1" taller is often used. > > Let us know what you decide. > > Thanks, > Gary H. > >> -------Original Message-------
