Bill...I don't know the actual sizes, but yes, the convertor hub size is
larger on '67-up convertors and corresponding cranks. You can have the
earlier cranks machined to the larger size, and ,comversely, you can get a
bushing that reduces the later large crank hole to the smaller, earlier
convertor hub size.

Can anyone tell me what the diameter of a 67+ Convertor hub is? And
did they change from pre 66? The guy I'm talking to about my possible
trans rebuild has been a Torqueflite specialist for decades and is
convinced I'm going to have an clearance issue between my 65b cfrank
and a 76+ convertor. I know I have a convertor in the garage but I'd
have to tear the parts under my bench all to hell to dig one out.
