Neal, if you put the back-up lights on a switch, I strongly reccomend you have an -on- indicator light at the switch. It is so easy to forget the lights are still on................................MO

well, thanks for the NAPA  links, but upon closer  inspection under there tonight I have given up on the whole idea, what with headers and 2 inch exhaust access to the spot is impossible. And I'm not going to drop the exhaust system out again, as it was just about impossible to install. My last hope is simply installing a switch in the dash to  just manually  turn on back-ups if I need them. Anybody know what  amp switch I should use?? I went to the store tonight and found them from 6 amp up to 35 amp.
