Re: Friday puzzler cars

Yeah, Gary. "Ran when parked" has always been a favorite selling point of mine. Seems like "Barn Find" has kinda taken over as the meaningless selling point of the day.

All good observations Bob.

I suspect a modern dual plane single 4 bbl would outperform that add-on crossram.

Just because a vehicle is in a barn does not mean it is a found diamond. More than not it will be a hunk of iron oxide. "Ran good when parked 10 years ago" seems like "had no wrinkles on his forehead 10 years go" -- time takes a toll in any case. LOL

Thanks,

I doubt those "crossram" adapters would add much power. Kinda cool
lookin', though. I don't see anything scary about it, except the price.
The rest:
That "barn find" barracuda - Ya gotta LOVE rust repair!!
No such thing as a "Gran Fury" in '64. The V100 seems overpriced for a roller. I don't think 9" brakes will
fit an 8.75 axle. What radio delete plate? Nice dash and upholstery.
The "Thrill Ride": Points for his description, but the car looks pretty
beat and I hate the bumpers.
The 3K$ Fury might be ok, have to see pictures. The 'vert: Well, he DID say full resto. Somehow "sound car" and "rusty
floors" are not compatible to me.

-------------------- FROM: "Bill Parker" There's something about those add on crossram adapters that seems
familiar. Like they were offered in the aftermarket back when.
