RE: electric fan recommendation



Have you considered a stock mechanical fan and shroud.  Hard to beat the airflow - that's what I plan for my '62 Dart wagon - simply adding the stock shroud which is available repro.

On a truck project this winter I had no shroud and no airflow at top half of the radiator.  Fabbed a fiberglass shroud for just the top half, and it made a huge difference.

That is a 20x40 terry cloth towel folded twice - 4 layers held in place at slow idle - on top where it had no idle air flow before.  And yep - those are '62 Dodge Dart hi-low horns on my Chevy truck - love the sound.  ; )
