We have the mopar version of the cold air intake.  They say 30 more HP.  Our test was a right turn burn out.  Before the intake pass wheel left light mark about 2 car lengths.   After installation it was both tires left a darker mark about 3 cars lengths.

We are getting a bit more pick up with it.  More powerful.   More MPG but we have driven nearly 8k and it should be getting better MPG by now.  All in all I like it.  The front and rear strut braces were worth every penny.

All good guesses.  Except Jason's.  :-p

Seriously, though.  Like the new car at lot.  Given the winter we had in Michigan we went with the AWD R/T.  Got the "Max" version which is loaded up.

I added the chin strap / front bumper guard as well as the stripe, which is subtle on the dark gray car, but I think it looks cool that way.  I also had the front grill "smoked."  For some reason the AWD models come with a chrome grill and I didn't think it looked good on the dark gray.

So what's the skinny on the K&N cold air intakes?  Anyone using them and noticing any effects, positive or negative?

Thank you,

Jim
