As a buddy of mine would say, "at least you know your car's oil pump is working well." LOL He always looks for the silver lining. Sorry to hear about the mess!. Could have been many things that caused the failure. If you use copper, the ends of the copper line is best to be mounted solidly to avoid cracking.
