Thanks,
I gave up on the pan. It had been modified and the sump enlarged with side wings, it came with the engine. The whole pan has a bow from front to back from the welding, the center is high, I kept betting leaks at the ends.
I have a new MRE500807 pan, I am just waiting for the oil pickup and I'll but it together.

Also while the pan is off set it on a good flat surface and make sure that the gasket surface of the pan is nice and flat with no gaps.

Hello,
I have had a persistent but small oil leak that appears to be coming from the pan gasket area.
I want to take my best shot at this, I have the pan off, have a new pan and I am doing this with the engine in the car. What do you guys recommend for a gasket and gasket sealer.
Thanks for any and all recommendations.
