RE: Which 727 Deep Pan?

This is the Derale pan I used with great success.  Mine is a polished aluminum in place of black that I got a couple of years ago from Jegs.  Personally I liked the cooling tubes in place of the fins that collect hard to get to road dirt.  You also get a lot more cooling surface area than with the  finned pans.   Much easier to keep clean also.  The URL split so copy & past the whole thing as one.

1)  Do you have ground clearance for a deep pan?

2)  Chrome is slippery and tough to seal.

3)  They do make aluminum pans with cooling fins:

Subject: Which 727 Deep Pan?

I've narrowed it down to 2 choices...

#1 MP Chrome w/ Gasket, filter and spacer (I don't need the filter & spacer as they are wrong for a 65) http://goo.gl/01tsAk

Not sure about the Spectre pan but it's 1/2 the cost of the MP unit.

I already bought a deep pan extension & filter kit from Pat Blais.

Thoughts?
