If you have a good radiator shop, have them re-core your factory radiator. My local guy has done four of them for me, he re-cores them replacing the two row core with a four row one using the factory top & bottom tanks. He is very careful not to alter the tanks and you have a # correct factory looking radiator that cools like crazy. I never have, but if you have a MoPar bolt counter he might catch it, otherwise no one will notice the thicker core. As far as inlets & outlets, if it ain't broke don't fix-it!! Also the re-core job will be much less expensive than buying a new radiator & having it shipped, with the same end cooling result. Not sure what your goals are for your car you will be keeping the factory look with the re-cored radiator.

This is a nice looking setup! I have a 426 in a 63 Sport Fury in Australia and it struggles with the heat. You guys got me thinking so I did a little research and now I'm confused. My water pump lower hose exits on the passenger side of the car - the radiator top hose comes in just to the drivers side of the cap. I 'believe' the early cars had this setup and then the housings changed so the bottom hose exits on the drivers side, but looking at a couple of pictures of maxies they seem to be mostly exiting the housing on the drivers side.
Whats right? I'm in the desert in Australia and in dire need of efficient cooling. I'm thinking of ordering one of the US Radiators but I guess hoping to know whats right with the water pump and housing too so I can bowl it all over at one.
Sorry to side track your thread...great info.
