They both do the same thing only one is a one piece, total of two, and the others are two piece, total of four. The one piece bushing gets installed in the frame first then the rod with a washer on it from the back then you put a washer and bolt from the front. The two piece you slide the washer then bushing on the rod insert through the frame then the second bushing then washer then bolt. Both are probably about the same, the one piece is a little harder to install but I tend to like them better. Some silicone grease or spray will work just fine installing them. the two piece are less hassle, just make sure you install them correctly. Each bushing will have a small lip on one side, that goes into the frame facing each other. If you don't get the two piece right it will squeek.-------Original Message-------From: Eric SturgisDate: 7/16/2015 5:10:21 PMTo: Chrysler GroupSubject: Strut bar bushing questionhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/Front-End-Repair-Kit-1959-62-Chrysler-Windsor-Newport-w-Ball-Joints-Tie-Rods-/311402247673?hash=item48810535f9&vxp=mtr
I have this kit for my car, if you look at the picture on the left side and right side there are two black rubber strut bar replacement rubber. They don't look like anything that is on my car. This looks like it would fit my car.But maybe I'm missing something? What one fits? Do both fit? Just different design? What's better?ThanksEric
