Finally got my new engine on the dyno today. Did just shy of 500 horsepower. Should be more than enough to carry my 1965 Belvedere to sub 12 second elapse times at the drag strip.
Engine builder says that compared to his car's HP and weight, mine should run around11.50. Finally, i have the joy of figuring out how to slow the car down rather than the epic struggle of getting it to go faster.
I'm expecting to make my first runs Memorial Day weekend.
