Today's normally available "gasoline" (ethanol blend) supposedly often burns better in our old Mopars when the plug used is one heat range cooler than the original plug number, e.g.,  Champion RJ10Y instead of  RJ14Y. Cam and compression affect this plug choice. Autolite 2974 was used by  Don D. though shortening the wire boot may be needed. The other plug suggested by Don was  Autolite 85;  (details were posted on the Tech Page.)
