In addition to what the other fellas stated, I'm wondering if you are using the stock fuel tank? I initially went that route with my '64 Fury but ran into a few issues. For starters, I couldn't find a good mounting location between the frames rails due to clearance issues with the gas tank so I went outside the rails which made me nervous. Then I had to mount it low to enable gravity flow to the pump, and it was so low it added to my concerns. In the end I removed the stock tank and put a cell in the trunk which solved both issues, but my car is far from stock so it was not an issue for me. An alternative for a stocker might be to locate the pump forward of the tank somewhere between the wheel wells, but I didn't explore that given I had no need.
Just passing some experiences...
Thank you,
Jim

Hi
What would be a good place for mounting an electric fuel pump (carter pn 152-875)
On a 1964 Polara,
I read that anywhere between the tank and carb should be okay??
And do I need a relay
Thanks
