Hey if my ’62 isn’t a missing link – I don’t know what is.......
I know the joke with GM turbo 350’s and 400’s is that they all leak. But I went after the ’70 Turbo 400 in my ’53 Chevy truck until it was leak free. Took several months – pretty
sure I replaced the pan gasket once or twice too many times, when the problem really was the selector shaft seal, the filler O-ring tube seal, and/or the vacuum modulator O-ring seal – all that can mimic a pain seal leak the way tranny fluid likes to run.

My ’62 shifts fine, but drips – seriously thinking about taking it to Pat Blais just to replace all the seals if nothing else.......
