Just saw this write-up in Hot Rod online...point of story is that this
hybrid of an engine (or blasphemy?) is more like a Poly which lends credence to
the
true power potential of a Polyspherical combustion chamber than a
traditional Wedge. Chrysler’s need to compete against the new competitive
Mustang and Camaro
entries/smaller A-body style platforms, necessitated a narrower/LA
powerplant to replace the Poly...oh how some of us lament not having all the
R&D put behind the 1956-66 Poly
engine to reveal its true power potential...well, I think we see a peak
under the tent with this entrepreneur's efforts; Greg Brown of Hammerhead
Performance.
