Long time list members will remember Don Dulmage. Who was a Mopar guru and wrote a great little book on building and racing big block engines, Old Reliable. He recommended using plain old Vaseline, which is what I used. In the past I have used liquid graphite. Neither has worked. My inner cable seems to be fine with no apparent nicks, kinks, or rough spots. A visual inspection of the outer cable doesn't show anything either. My guess is it's just worn out. So for now I'll just put up with a speedo with the hiccups.

Hey everybody
Apparently Brewers performance is now making 62 to 65 speedometer gears up to 21 teeth! FINALLY!!!
Here's the link on the FABO Forum page which includes the calculations for the proper speedo gear selection.
I'll be calling them about mine today!!!
