I agree with you about the Imperials. Very underpriced for what they are. Chrysler spared no expense making them. Not 
a daily driver candidate now though unless a very short commute. :) 

I remember years ago Mopar Action magazine did a feature where they kept stripping parts off a 1964(?) Imperial and 
running it down the dragstrip to see how much faster it got. Duh. Weighs less, goes faster. They caught TONS of reader 
pushback / flack for destroying a  real nice Imperial while creating that magazine story.
