Hi Dennis,
If you box does not need resealing or rebuilding, they always look “nice” with a fresh coat of black enamel paint. I use engine enamel to endure engine bay heat.

Subject: 1964 Belevere Engine Bay Painting
I have the engine out of my 64 and working on cleaning and painting the engine bay. What is the best thing to do with the power steering box, just clean it or clean and paint black?
Thanks
Dennis C
