1962-1965 Mopar fender tags are not easy to decode as the records from the Chrysler manufacturing plants were lost and not compatible with one another. There was a fellow working on decoding fender tags for 1965's. I have not heard from him with updates since 2015 but here is what he reported 'till then: http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.org/ml-osterling65fendertag.html The vin tag is easier. Here's a link to an online decoder, at the top of the page on: http://maxwedge.com/ Thanks, Gary H. > -------Original Message------- > > What's the easiest way to decode a 1965 Dodge VIN number or the fender tag codes. > > -- -- -- -- Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
