I will add that while the Hemi has a mystique of its own, the 440 has also gained legendary status. Docile, yet potent in an Imperial or New Yorker, brutal when in a B body muscle car, E body pony car or even a C body police car, this largest of the RB family is easy to work on and s a reliable plant. Like all Mopar engines, it has its niche. Dress it up like a '58 350 or '59 361 and fool your GM and Ford pals! They usually don't know about that pad next to the distributor that gives away the presence of an RB!
